Local Channel 5 is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth yet again. Now they have moved the Rachel Ray show from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. And for Marta Stewart none the less. What is wrong with that. This Channel really must be trying to loose my viewership. They are real close to it too. The only good thing they have going for them right now is that they are an NBC channel which means they will have my man Jay tonight.
It has been way too long for the comedy styles of Jay Leno. I refuse to watch the red headed guy on the night show. Jay is an amazing comedian and I can't wait to see what he has in store for his fans tonight.

Way Too Young
Yesterday afternoon while shopping I saw something that I just find disturbing. A padded bra in the Girls Department! That's right the 6X to 12 department! Not only where there padded bras there was strapless and halter bras too.
I was 17 before I got my first strapless/padded bra. When did it become okay for young girls to get one and why would their parents let them wear one? Kids grow up way too fast as it is, they don't need any help becoming a woman faster.

Reality TV at its Worst
A few weeks ago the Food Network crowned its newest "food network star". Or at least that is what they are calling her. That night is also the same night I lost all respect for the food network and its chiefs.
It was also on that night that this food network junkie quit it cold turkey. I have not watched the food network since then and probably will not again for a long time. The guy they decided was not good enough had so much more personality and likability. I would have watched his show in a heart beat but they decided that the viewers really don't matter.
I saw other people comment on the food network website that they too would not watch her show if she won but would watch his. Shouldn't that count for something? I guess it doesn't. Only on the food network do we put strange people in the kitchen.

Bye Mr. Weather Man
Channel 5 just lost a viewer this week with the announcement that their chief meteorologist is leaving for a smaller market. The way he delivered the weather was great and there will be no one like him. He was the one weather man I trusted.
I knew when that witch came back to Cincinnati and they put her on the air for the evening news, it was just a matter of time before my man would be on his way out. Well I will get my weather from the weather channel's web site from now on. My loyalty is going to AL with my weather man.
The only thing good is he is going to a city where their news is aired in Destin FL, and that is where I will be vacationing in just a few months. At least I know where I can find weather I can trust. I will be looking for you Mr. Weather Man.
So good bye Channel 5 good bye Mr. Weather Man and I will always remember that "Derek said it would."
